Habi Collective is most known for its acclaimed cinema releases, most recent and notable of which is the full-length documentary "Walang Rape sa Bontok (Bontok, Rapeless)" which won as Pinakamahusay na Dokyumentaryo (Best Documentary) in the 38th Gawad Urian, and a Finalist Certificate from the New York Festivals Best TV and Films.

We have also collaborated with other production teams, like Haraya Pictures for "Last Shot" and KaiZen Visions for "Ang Babae sa Likod ng Mambabatok (The Woman Behind The Tattoo Artist)".

Ang Babae sa Likod ng Mambabatok

Ang Babae sa Likod ng Mambabatok

Directed by: Lauren Faustino The film unravels the multiple layers of the living legend, Fang Od, a 92 year old woman who has been called the ‘Last [Traditional] Tattoo Artist of Kalinga.’ Her body covered in tattoos is a landscape on its own, mirroring the map of a woman who has chosen, wittingly or unwittingly, a road diverging from convention and in the process become a culture-bearer.

Walang Rape sa Bontok

Walang Rape sa Bontok

Directed by: Lester Valle Two Filipina victims of sexual abuse yearn for a utopia where women can live without being sexually violated. By chance, they encounter a study by anthropologist June Prill-Brett, stating that the Bontok of the Philippine Cordilleras has lived for eras without a term, nor concept, nor incidence of rape. At last, a society where the most heinous of gender crimes is unheard of. Or, is it?

Last Shot

Last Shot

Directed by: Wena Sanchez "Last Shot" happens on Graduation Day and follows the conversation between a 32-year-old coach and his favorite student, before one receives his diploma and the other goes to his call center job interview. The film is a bittersweet vignette about how the inefficient delivery of basic social services may strip us off of the right to dream and live a life we choose.
